Background

Trained as a Chartered Accountant in the United Kingdom, Brian has extensive experience in assurance, consultancy, investigations and corporate reconstructions and works closely with a number of leading New Zealand business entrepreneurs in his capacity as a Partner of BDO Auckland.

Brian has broad knowledge of New Zealand capital markets, and experience of investing in early stage technology businesses and investing in venture capital funds. He is a director of a number of private companies, many in the information technology arena and has extensive experience and expertise in corporate governance and due diligence across a diverse range of businesses in New Zealand and overseas.

Brian's qualifications include FCA (UK), CA (ICANZ) and an MA (Oxon).
