Background

Calvin Smith is a New Zealand based businessman with a background in investment banking. Calvin spent 16 years in Investment Banking working in New Zealand, Singapore, Tokyo and London. This culminated in being a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, with primary responsibility for the global currency derivatives trading. Upon returning to New Zealand in 2007, he has been actively involved with start up businesses. He is currently an investor and CEO of K9 Natural Food Ltd. He also consults on currency risk management for investors and exporters. He is an active investor in other start ups.
