Calvin Smith is a Christchurch-based businessman with a background in investment banking focusing on currency derivatives and risk management. He owns and manages his own start-up - a currency overlay business, Bullendale Ltd, which manages currency risk for investors and exporters. Prior to this, he was managing director of Credit Suisse First Boston, based in London. He has also worked in Tokyo and Singapore. He is an active investor in other start ups with the most notable being K9 Natural Food Group Ltd.
