Welcome to the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF)

NZVIF is a fund of funds investor and a cornerstone investor in New Zealand’s venture capital market. We currently have $200 million of funds under management which is invested through two vehicles – the $160 million venture capital fund of funds and the $40 million seed co-investment fund. We also develop new private equity investment products.

We have deep knowledge of the New Zealand venture capital market. Our people have specialist skills in systematic review, assessment and due diligence of venture capital investment teams, contract negotiation and ongoing active monitoring of investments.

Our investment focus is New Zealand-originated, high-growth potential companies.

As a New Zealand government supported fund manager, NZVIF, also plays an active role in market development, alongside the local venture capital industry.
